"I purchased the larger screen of the Samsung Q1 and looked for aviation GPS moving map software. I tried the APIC trial and was sold. I can see the moving map on one half of my screen and the approach plates on the other. The features are great and so is the price. {version 041405}"

"I think APIC this is a really great product. I feel secure flying with it as a backup in my airplane - the HSI is amazing. The new approach plates feature is great, especially the real-time position on the approach profile view. The only other program that I believe does this are the Flight Charts by Jeppesen for a whole lot more money. {version March 2007}"

"Some of APIC's strengths include a very nice EFIS/AI and MM display, w/terrain and WX capabilities. APIC supports optional solid state e-gyro and pod engine monitoring interfaces which may appeal to some users who desire these capabilities. On the negative side I found the moving map display to be quite lackluster with terminal airspace's poorly defined and no critcal information available for special use airspace's. Flight planning via the moving map was also inadequate as the course line disappears past the EFIS arc when panning ahead. I would not reccommend this software as a primary GPS. {version 030805}"
