News: American Airlines Opens New Terminal in New York (JFK)

American Airlines (AAL) has opened their new 36 gate terminal at JFK airport in New York. This new terminal includes: 84 ticket stations, 44 self-service kiosks, a new "Flagship" Lounge for international passengers features 10 work stations, 6 computers, free buffet and Direct TV, a new 11,000-square foot Admiral's Club, and much more.
The $1.3 billion terminal opened in phases starting August 2005 with a few domestic flights. It opened for international flights in June when it brought on-line more gates and the new customs area.
