This program allows you to transfer and view various charts (plates) on your Pocket PC.

Features Include: This add-on to the SmartPlates PC program allows you to transfer and use U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii) approach, arrival (STARs), departure (SIDs) procedures and airport diagrams on your Pocket PC (PPC) device. This program requires the desktop (PC) version of SmartPlates before you can select and transfer the charts to your Pocket PC. Once you have selected the airports you need, saved your Plate Pack and updated your PPC, then you are ready to go. The PDA program will allow you to locate plates by Plate Pack (PPack), Identifier (Ident), or Chart (states). A Plate Pack is just a collection of plates needed for a flight, it can consist of a single airport up to multiple states. Once you've selected the airport needed, SmartPlates will show a listing of charts related to that airport. Next, click on the chart name and Acrobat Reader will display the chart. The PC version of SmartPlates has other features such as Knee-Board printing, E6-B calculator and more.

Pros: 12,000 pages of charts on your Pocket PC, large buttons allow you to look-up charts without stylus, no subscription fees ("Never Pay for Plates Again!"), updated every 28 days.
Cons: Requires Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC, requires PC to transfer plates to Pocket PC, slightly sluggish during application loading, no way to update charts from PDA.
