"ATA Airline pretends to be "partnered" with Southwest, and books flights ( unrealized by the passenger ) on Southwest legs. When there is an issue, it is very evident that ATA and Southwest have no underlying agreement to work together and you are on your own, directed to the "other" airline to resolve your issue. On other problems of baggage, or delayed flights, you are also on your own. ATA is the "NOT MY PROBLEM AIRLINE". We paid over $1000 for each ticket to get from PHOENIX to HONOLULU, when the Southwest flight they booked us on would not make it on time, ATA booked us on a new flight to MAUI instead of HONOLULU & stated that we would need to get our own flight from MAUI to HONOLULU & pay for it ourselves with a 3rd airline, ALOHA Airlines. ATA did not even offer to help us book it. When you have a luggage issue, you are directed it is not their problem either. We had to be on a ship that day and had a very difficult time with ATA customer service. This is our first flight with ATA and will be our last. In addition to the logistics issues and baggage issues, their customer service desks have no customer service--- the desk attendent pretended to be "on hold" with their own ATA help desk for over 1/2 hour, until we demanded that we be handled properly by a manager. The manager cannot help you either. The flight attendents are unpleasant and the planes are dirty. This made me wonder ( while at 35,000 feet ) if they had other "disconnected employee" issues that would affect the mechanical operation of the airplane?? It is very apparent that the airline is bankrupt. DONT FLY WITH THE "NOT MY PROBLEM ATA AIRLINES"!"
